TikTok Gift Gallery: how it works and how to light up gifts
Updated: 21/10/2026
The TikTok Gift Gallery is a LIVE creator's record of gifts: gifts start out "unlit" and light up when viewers send them. The official @tiktoklive_us account introduced it (20/11/2023) as a weekly challenge: every Monday, creators try to light up the gifts in their gallery with their viewers' help, and the viewer who contributes most to a gift can become its "Title Gifter". No special gift is needed: any gift in the creator's gallery counts, from 1-coin gifts to the most expensive ones.
Quick summary
- What it is: a creator panel showing which gifts they have received in their LIVEs, lit or still to light.
- How a gift lights up: viewers send it during the stream; the gallery shows how many are still needed.
- Title Gifter: according to the RISE agency guide, whoever sends the most of a gift that week.
- Reset: every Monday, per the official challenge and the RISE guide.
What is the TikTok Gift Gallery?
It is a section of the creator's LIVE profile showing gifts from the catalogue: the ones already received appear lit and the rest unlit. RISE, a Japanese agency that manages LIVE creators, describes it in its guide (25/05/2025) as a record of gifts received that can also be viewed from the profile, and adds that it resets every Monday at 0:00. TikTok also uses it in events: in March 2025, @tiktoklive announced that the new gifts in its Vault Challenge earned extra points when lit up in participating creators' galleries.
Rules can change by region and app version. RISE also warns that gifts sent anonymously, and some others, may not count.
How do you light up a gift in the Gallery?
- The creator shows which gifts are missing during the stream; the gallery displays how many are left for each one.
- The viewer opens the gift panel in the LIVE and sends that gift. If you are not sure how, see our guide on how to send gifts on TikTok LIVE.
- Once the number the gallery asks for is reached, the gift stays lit until the next reset.
TikTok does not publish an official table of how many units each gift needs, so the reliable figure is the one the creator's gallery shows at the time.
What is a Gallery Title Gifter?
It is the title a viewer earns on one specific gift. According to the RISE guide, it goes to whoever has sent the most units of that gift during the week; their badge appears next to the gift in the gallery and is highlighted in the stream and the chat. That is different from being a LIVE top gifter, which ranks viewers by everything they contribute in a stream.
Gallery, top gifter, Gifter Level and Fan Club: what is the difference?
| Feature | What it measures | Resets |
|---|---|---|
| Gift Gallery | Which gifts the creator has received | Every Monday |
| Title Gifter | Who sent the most of one gift | With the gallery |
| Top gifter | Who contributes most in a LIVE | Per stream or period |
| Gifter Level | Everything you have spent on gifts | No |
| Fan Club | Your level as a fan of one creator | No, unless you leave |

How much does it cost to light up Gallery gifts?
It depends on the gift and on how many units the gallery asks for. For reference, here are the prices of some common gifts:
| Gift | Coins | ≈ US web $ | ≈ £ | ≈ CA$ |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Rose | 1 | 0.01 | 0.01 | 0.01 |
| Hand Heart | 100 | 1.04 | 0.78 | 1.46 |
| Galaxy | 1,000 | 10.40 | 7.78 | 14.62 |
| Diamond Gun | 5,000 | 52.00 | 39 | 73 |
| Interstellar | 10,000 | 104 | 78 | 146 |
Coin prices from TikMonitor (08/10/2026); dollars at $0.0104 per coin (US web rate, ReelShift, 16/10/2026); pounds and Canadian dollars via ExchangeRate-API on 21/10/2026.
The rest of the catalogue is in TikTok gift prices. Whatever you send cannot be recovered: TikTok's Virtual Items Policy (updated 22/01/2026) says gifts cannot be returned or refunded.
Which pack helps fill a gallery?
A modest pack is enough to light up lots of small gifts. The 10,000-coin pack ($79, ≈ £59) covers 10 Galaxies or 2 Diamond Guns and includes a Diamond Gun; the 25,000 pack ($164, ≈ £123) also includes the Black Bear and the Treasure Chest.
