Are coins worth the same to the creator who receives them?
No. Coins are only used to send gifts; the creator receives Diamonds, and TikTok sets the conversion without publishing the rate. Third-party estimates suggest about $0.005 per coin sent, roughly half of what the sender paid. Coins can't be turned back into cash either.
