Bought TikTok Coins but they're not showing up? What to check and how to claim
Updated: 21/10/2026
If you bought TikTok coins and they're not showing up, check three things before you complain: that you're looking at the right account (Profile → Settings and privacy → Balance), that the payment isn't still pending with Google Play, the App Store or your bank, and that there's no open refund request, because TikTok can freeze those coins. If you bought from an outside site like CoinTok, also double-check the @username you typed and that the payment was confirmed. Most cases get sorted out without losing your money.
Quick summary
- Where to look: Balance, Coin History and Transaction History inside TikTok.
- Most common cause in the app: a different account logged in, or a payment still pending in the store.
- Most common cause on outside sites: a mistyped @username or an unconfirmed payment.
- Apple purchases are claimed with Apple; Google Play purchases with TikTok via "Report a problem".
Where do I check whether my coins arrived?
In the TikTok app: Profile → menu → Settings and privacy → Balance. That shows your available coins. TikTok's Virtual Items Policy (updated 22/01/2026) also mentions a Transaction History and a Coin History, where purchases and spending are listed. If the purchase is there but your balance is lower than expected, check whether you spent coins on gifts in a LIVE.
First, close and reopen TikTok and update the app: sometimes the balance just takes a moment to refresh on screen.
Why aren't the coins I bought in the app showing up?
| Symptom | Likely cause | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Balance at 0 after paying | You're logged into a different TikTok account | Check the active @username and switch accounts |
| Charge "pending" at the bank or store | The payment hasn't completed yet | Wait for it to clear or check the store |
| Coins appeared, then vanished | An open refund request | The policy allows coins to be frozen during review |
| Charged, but nothing in the history | Sync error with the store | Restart, update, and if it persists, report a problem |
| Restriction notice | Account limited for virtual items | Check the account status and contact TikTok |

One important detail: under that policy, if a payment fails, is reversed or goes unpaid, TikTok may suspend the account or access to virtual items. So don't file a chargeback with your bank on your own while the case is still open with the store.
I bought coins from an outside site and they haven't arrived. What now?
If you bought outside TikTok, delivery depends on the seller. At CoinTok it works like this: pick a pack, reserve, pay, and the coins are delivered to the @username you typed, after ticking the box confirming the username is correct. The site shows an average delivery time of 1 minute, and its FAQ says most orders are delivered instantly or within a few minutes after the payment is confirmed.
If those minutes pass and you still don't see the coins:
- Check the @username. An extra dot, letter or underscore sends the coins to another account. It's the most common cause.
- Make sure the payment was confirmed. If you paid with crypto (USDT, BTC, ETH), the network has to confirm the transaction; send the full amount on the network shown at payment.
- Check the Balance on the right account. If the pack included a gift, it unlocks on that same account, with no codes.
- Contact support with your order number, @username and proof of payment. According to CoinTok's FAQ, if the coins or the included gift aren't delivered properly, the case is reviewed and a fix or refund is offered.
Be wary of any "seller" who asks for your password, a verification code or a second payment to "unlock" delivery: that's a scam. We cover it in free TikTok coins scams.
How do I claim coins that never arrived?
It depends on where you paid:
| Where you bought | Where to claim |
|---|---|
| App on iPhone (App Store) | Apple, from your purchase history |
| App on Android (Google Play) | TikTok: Profile → menu → Settings and privacy → Report a problem |
| TikTok's official website | TikTok, via Report a problem |
| CoinTok | CoinTok support with your order number and proof of payment |

Have the date, amount, @username and transaction ID ready. A screenshot of the charge helps close the case faster.
How do I stop this from happening again?
Copy and paste your @username instead of typing it, buy only with the account you'll use in the LIVE, and don't request a chargeback without talking to the store or seller first. If it's your first purchase outside the app, how to buy TikTok coins walks through the whole process.
Want a simple order delivered straight to your @username? CoinTok packs start at 5,000 coins for $49, and the 10,000 pack ($79) includes the Diamond Gun. Pay with crypto (USDT, BTC, ETH) and never share your password. See the coin packs.
CoinTok is an independent service and isn't affiliated with TikTok. Buying from third parties isn't backed by TikTok, whose policy says coins are purchased from TikTok.

FAQ
In the app, they usually show up as soon as the store confirms the payment. At CoinTok the stated average is 1 minute, and most orders arrive instantly or within a few minutes after the payment is confirmed. If it takes longer, check the @username and the payment status.
Go to Profile, menu, Settings and privacy, Balance. TikTok also keeps a Transaction History and a Coin History showing purchases and spending. Make sure you're logged into the account you bought with.
Coins are credited to the @username you entered, so if another account has that name they may land there. Contact the seller's support right away with your order number. To avoid it, copy and paste your username and only tick the confirmation box after checking it.
Most often they were spent on gifts or there's an open refund request: TikTok's policy allows coins to be frozen during review. It can also happen if a payment was reversed. Check your Coin History and contact TikTok if the numbers don't add up.
